-------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: Follow-up to yesterday's conversation Date: Sun, 7 Feb 2016 08:48:00 -0500 From: Stefan Jetchick To: Lemieux-Lefèbvre, Jasmin jll (add at sign) ecdq.org Good evening Jasmin, By the way, I'm told today is the birthday of your 9 year-old. Tell him Happy Birthday for me! I'm also told you're very tired after having worked hard to prepare these funerals, so you can take your time to answer me. Since my cameraman couldn't make it today, I first have to explain to my readers this e-mail's context. Today at the Saint-Thomas-d'Aquin church, at 11h00 AM, there was a funeral for some of the victims of the jihadist attacks of Ouagadougou, in Burkina Faso (I think around 2016-January-15). Since the CBC (and other Leftist Media) as well as our pro-Islam Prime Minister are doing everything they can to hide the islamic thread, I went to distribute a few copies of the flyer called "Love Muslims! Hate Islam!". I'd like to come back on something you told me on the church steps outside. 1.1) You seemed very shocked to see the word "hate" ("Hate Islam!") in my flyer. As all persons infected with the pervasive Leftism in Quebec, you seem to imagine hatred is a necessarily bad emotion. You even told me something like: "Nowhere in the Bible and the teachings of the Church is it said we must hate". A few quotes with the word "hate" and its synonyms like the verbs "to detest", "abhor", "to be odious", in the Bible and the teachings of the Church: "The fear of the LORD is to hate evil" Pr 8:13 "I abhor the assembly of evildoers and refuse to sit with the wicked." Ps 26:5 "Equally odious to God are the evildoer and his evil deed" Sg 14:9 "[Don't] commit this horrible deed which I hate!" Jr 44:4 "When you begin to abhor what you have made, it is then that your good works are beginning, since you are accusing yourself of your evil works" CCC, #1458 "Liberation in the spirit of the Gospel is incompatible with hatred of one's enemy as a person, but not with hatred of the evil that he does as an enemy. CCC, #1933 If you had taken a few Philosophy courses, you'd know that hatred in itself is not evil. Think of your kids: because you love your kids, you hate, you detest, you abhor, bottles that contain hazardous chemicals which don't have childproof caps. To love to see one's children being healthy, is hating to see one's kids seriously injured or even killed by toxic chemicals they would have ingested because they were playing with bottles found under the kitchen sink, etc. Actually, your behavior gave you in: you detested truth and light, so you did everything you could to prevent me from handing out my flyer: - You accused my flyer of not being Catholic, even though I just quote official teachings of the Church; - You directed people away from me, and you told them not to take the flyers I was trying to hand them; - You ordered me to leave (even though you're not my hierarchical superior; you're just an employee of the diocesan services); - You went to get the Quebec City policemen so they could remove me from the premises. So don't tell me we must never hate! You do it yourself! Another piece of advice: your paycheck is controled by Leftists. That is starting to influence negatively your Catholic Faith. You should perhaps start to look for another job, since: "You cannot serve God and Money." [Mt 6:24] What? You say your employer is totally Catholic? In that case, since you're Communications Director at the diocese, and you regularly speak with Cardinal Gérald-Cyprien Lacroix, could you please transmit to him my request for the Imprimatur for my flyer? (I'd like to hand it out inside churches in the Quebec diocese.) Don't forget to tell the Cardinal to come and read our correspondence before, so he'll avoid looking like a fool by "condemning hate", without realizing that all good Catholics must hate to go to Heaven (hate one's sins, not one's enemies!). Cheers, SJJ
