Hunter's Space Pen

This is just some instructions to make a improvised pen body for a Fisher Space Pen refill, using a boring and inexpensive Bic ballpoint pen.

Start with the Bic pen, take everything apart except the plug at the end (which we will reuse as-is).

Cut the cap, keeping only the clip. (Not necessary, but I do it because then the pen is short enough to fit inside my wallet.)

Cut all remaining parts so they fit the Fisher Space Pen refill. You'll need some kind of "filler" because the "tip holder" of the original Bic pen is a bit too large. I just cut a piece off the rubbery finger cushion, and fold it. Final assembly requires a bit of pushing to stretch the body, but it's doable.
