Please, Mr. Cardinal, Could You Prevent Some Of Your Subordinates From Killing My Family?

Mr. Cardinal Marc Ouellet,

I'm not sure how to tell you what's on my mind. I'll therefore talk to you as a child talks to his father, openly, and without worrying too much about how I'm going to put it.

After all, spiritually, you're my father, since you are the spiritual leader of the Quebec Diocese, which is part of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church, founded by Jesus Christ, whose Vicar here on Earth is the Pope. I also pray for you and the Pope twice daily, at least.

Father, I'm under the impression that my family is being killed spiritually. I'm not talking here about something related to Criminal Law, but of a concept of Catholic theology.

Why this accusation? Basically, because you approved with your Apostolic Authority (through the voice of your Chancellor) the scandal which occurred Saturday March 13, 2004, in the church of Saint-Michel-de-Sillery. Following this scandal, my family, as well as hundreds of persons (yes! hundreds!), are now convinced that the Catholic Church teaches the following deadly errors:

1) You can be a good Catholic, even if you reject the dogmas of the Catholic Church.

2) Mortal sin is a fairy tale. God doesn't really exist. Heaven is automatic, if it even exists.

3) The Sacraments, like Baptism, Confession and especially the Eucharist, are simply accessories which we can get rid of anytime. What is essential, are religious emotions.

4) The Catholic Church has special ceremonies, for people who don't want to have anything to do with the Pope, the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist, and even God's existence. Such ceremonies are held in Catholic churches, led by Catholic Priests, with your approval.

And so on...

To understand this, please read my half-brother's letter (see " Correspondance avec M. Jean-Sébastien Trudel", not translated in English yet, sorry), concerning the funeral service of my sister Elizabeth Jetchick, who died of cancer on March 6, 2004 (see " Dear Agathe").

Jean-Sébastien is a reliable witness of the scandal that has been caused. He is very honest, wouldn't harm anybody, has consulted the non-Catholic members of my family, and on top of that he writes well! He is like a sheet of photographic paper, all white and candid; what he says faithfully mirrors the situation.

It's not surprising that these people are stuck in numerous philosophical and theological errors. Our society is seeped in those errors! What I find unacceptable is that such errors were approved, certified, legitimized, how can I say, marked with the seal of the Catholic Church.

My family, which was already rather far from the Church, has been pushed down even further into its deadly errors, and this, by those very religious leaders who should have freed them from those errors!

At the very least, could you meet with my mother, my brothers Jean-Sébastien and Michel, as well as Laurent (Elizabeth's husband) and his daughter Agathe, as well as Jeannine, Laurent's mother? You could also give every member of my family a text officially correcting the deadly errors mentioned above (I could put it on my web site, to reach out to the very numerous friends and acquaintances of Elizabeth).

I beg you, Mr. Cardinal Marc Ouellet, for the love of God, truly and substantially present in the Eucharist, could you prevent some of your subordinates from spiritually killing my family?
