Request For Permission From The Authorities

Note: Every year, we give a heads-up to the Quebec Provincial Police, the Quebec City Police, as well as the security services of the CHUL Hospital and the Place Laurier shopping mall. As far as we know, we don't need permission to hold a Life Chain on a public sidewalk, but we ask nevertheless, to maintain good relations with all concerned.

Objet: Small pro-life demonstration on October 7th, 2007

To whom it may concern,

Just like last year, we anticipate holding a Life Chain on October 7 between 2PM and 3PM, between the CHUL and Place Laurier. Last year, there were about twenty participants.

Actually, it's not really a demonstration, but rather a peaceful hour of prayer, as you can see in the description of a Chain and the Code of Conduct for the participants.

The Committee members are of course available should you require more information.

Sincerely,

Stefan Jetchick, Secretary
Quebec City Life Week Committee
