View of the Life Chain, before pro-choicers began their intimidation tactics.
I'm sorry for the huge delay in writing this report on the Life Chain (over one year, since I'm writing this on 2008-October-24). I admit the pro-choicers intimidation and the usual apathy of our Catholic religious leaders had discouraged me. But the success of the 2009 Chain is giving me hope.

One of the highlights of the 2008 Chain was Guillaume Beaulieu, a pro-choicer disguised as a «pope», who spent all his time pretending to be a pro-lifers by staying with us, while screaming abusive language at passers-by.
Of course, being insulted and spit on is not very serious, but blasphemous and vulgar language are not welcome in a supposedly family event. (A hilarious anectode is that a Protestant pastor from the Quebec City region came to participate in the Life Chain, but when he saw Guillaume Beaulieu, he thought it was a real Catholic Bishop, so he left!) You have several reasons to pray for this young pro-choicer. First, an officer of the Quebec Provincial Police told me that the lastest news was M. Beaulieu was homeless in Montreal. Second, after seeing that video, I had the idea of making a more direct rebuttal of pro-choice lies thanks to a permanent invitation to an electronic debate on abortion.

Sunday, I participated in Quebec City to a small pro-life demonstration, against abortion. We were about twenty, silently holding our signs, on the curb between the Place Laurier shopping mall and the CHUL hospital. There were also counter-demonstrators, more numerous, noisiers, and grouped around anarchist flags.
Several of them joined us on the curb, in order to provoke us and to mock our message of life. One gesture struck me in particular: some of them would put their signs directly in front of ours to prevent motorists to see the message we wanted to communicate.
Unless I'm mistaken, anarchists are in favor of absolute freedom, which of course includes freedom of expression. By voluntarily hiding signs carrying a message contrary to theirs, aren't they denying that very freedom which they so noisily demand for themselves? Don't they therefore contradict the fundamental principle of their ideological position? Aren't they themselves committing and act of censorship and repression?
Pro-life demonstrators against Morgentaler's Order of Canada
On 2008-July-01, abortionist and militant atheist Henry Morgentaler was awarded the Order of Canada. We demonstrated just outside the entrace to the Citadelle in Old Quebec where the shameful ceremony occured. Even the location for this ceremony was sick: in the most pro-choice province of Canada, on Crown land, inside the only military-controlled spot inside the city, and announced at the last minute.
