Good day,

I'm sorry, I was supposed to give a paper copy of this letter
directly to Father Berg, when he came here at
Saint-Zéphirin-de-Stadaconna in Quebec City a few weeks ago,
but I wasn't able to.

I'm sending you the hyperlink instead (please note the letter
is available both in English and in French):

Lettre ouverte à l'abbé John Berg

Open Letter To Fr. John Berg

Thank you very much for forwarding this to Father Berg!

In Christ,

Stefan Jetchick

Dear Sir,

Many thanks for your message. We are very sensitive to the interest
you have for our Fraternity and to the support you demonstrate
for our brother, Father Guillaume Loddé.

Father Berg has given me the task of answering you that unfortunately
he never gives interviews and never posts any answers on blogs or
forums. I hope you will understand that he can't make an exception
for www.inquisition.ca...

Nevertheless, do not hesitate in the future to continue to share
with us your comments or suggestions.

With the assurance of our prayers,

In Christo

Abbé Arnaud Evrat

Good day Mr. abbé Arnaud Evrat,

>> Father Berg has given me the task of answering you

First of all, thanks for having transmitted my message
to Mr. abbé Berg, and thanks to Mr. abbé Berg for
having answered.

>> unfortunately he never gives interviews

Hum, maybe the English in Switzerland isn't the same as in
Quebec, but I see nowhere in my letter a request for an
interview. I only see a simple question.

>> [Mr. abbé Berg] never posts any answers on blogs or
>> forums.

Here again, I never asked Mr. abbé Berg to post anything on
my web site! I asked him to answer a simple question.

These days all organizations, even the poorest and most
disorganized, have an official web site, upon which they
post their official positions. I imagine Mr. abbé Berg
has the right to post things on www.fssp.org?

>> do not hesitate in the future to continue to share
>> with us your comments or suggestions.

Small suggestion: since Vatican II, the clergy has
a hard time giving frank answers to simple questions. It
would be nice to return to traditional clarity!

In Christ,

Stefan
